Dr. Melissa Witherell is originally from Connecticut. She attended undergrad at Fordham University to study Biological Sciences. After that she went to veterinary school at Iowa State University. Following graduation she did a small animal medicine and surgical internship at Red Bank Hospital in New Jersey. The following year a specialty avian and exotic internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Melissa currently works as a veterinary consultant at Chewy.
